ABOUT SARAH

My processes are using, low tech mixed with digital and screen printing to achieve my designs and colour. My work is characterised by my bold blending and striking use of colour, coupled with abstracted architectural shapes inspired by concrete structures of brutalism. I also take themes from my childhood home of Vanuatu in the South Pacific.

My approach to textile design is to move as much as possible towards a sustainable, zero-waste solution in the production of apparel and accessories, in line with the current movement for slow fashion.

My pieces are unique. Each produced, designed and manufactured in the UK with smaller items created from surplus textiles from my material prints.

I'm available for commissions, collaborations and other projects.
